Introduction to Modern Calligraphy with a Pointed Pen
A four-week workshop for beginners covering tools, strokes, letterforms, and connecting words. You’ll leave confident to continue practicing at home.
This is for you if:
You’re brand new to calligraphy and want a strong foundation.
Description: Introduction to Calligraphy welcomes you to the art of writing. During this 4-week course, you’ll learn how to use a pen and nib, create the basic strokes that make up letterforms, and perform drills that improve consistency and even your handwriting. By the end, you’ll write in a classic modern calligraphy style. All supplies included.

This is for you if:
You’ve taken a beginner class but want to refine and expand your skills.
Description: Have you taken a beginner class in calligraphy, but don’t know what to do next? In this 4-week workshop, we’ll deepen your skills with nib manipulation, spacing, shapes, and a lesson in flourishing with examples and exercises. This is a great follow-up to the Introduction to Calligraphy course.
