About the event
This Modern Calligraphy Beginner Intensive welcomes you to the art of writing.
During this 2-week course, you’ll learn how to use a pen and nib, create the basic strokes that make up letterforms, and perform drills that improve consistency and even your handwriting.
By the end, you’ll be able to write in a classic modern calligraphy style.
Our curriculum:
5/16 Week One | Build the foundation with a history lesson, supplies brief, and the basic strokes. In the second half of class we will learn the lowercase/minuscule letters.
5/23 Week Two | time for the majuscule letters and a lesson on connecting your letters into words. Finally, we will practice your connections, writing words sequentially, and receive personalized feedback
