Ornament Lettering Class
Bring your loved ones into the Distillery of Modern Art to create one-of-a-kind ornaments to hang on your tree! We'll be learning the basics of hand lettering in your own modern style & how to write on objects like ornaments with paint markers.

About the event
Make this years holiday season extra special with hand lettered ornaments to hang on the tree!! Bring your siblings to create ornaments for mom & dad, or bring your kids (7 and up) to make a momento that you'll treasure for years to come.
In this class, you'll learn the basic process of building letters in modern styles with guides, worksheets, and instruction. After you're confident in your lettering, we'll learn how to apply these lessons to writing on a round object like an ornament. The last portion of class will be dedicated to drawing and decorating your ornaments.
No prior calligraphy experience is necessary. We'll be learning lettering with the markers and pens provided. You may also bring your own pen, nibs, and ink for the first portion of class.
